MEMORIA
Apichatpong Weerasethakul
Thank you Angelle, thank you Claudia Chan, thank you Art Basel for bringing us together, thank you Hong Kong Arts Centre, Videotage and ghost2565.
Because of MEMORIA, we are finally in remission ......
Memories keep the beautiful things in life alive.
Jean-Luc Godard, however, concentrates on criticism of the media and the truth. You can encounter it in Apichatpong Weerasethakul's film, which is long and slow, almost like in real life.

But the magic moments always appear.
Apichatpong Weerasakul's films are full of those moments of care, tenderness and truth. It unfolds slowly and is full of magic.
For me, film is about the invention of a mirrored reality that confronts us all, for the sake of a better humanity.
Film is a dream, it is about making dreams come true. But as you all know, it is more than that, it is also less than that. Perhaps between dreams and reality, we are here to realise the gap between our own imaginations.
Thank you for being with us again, after this gap of 3 years, where we realise the gap between meeting each other, communicating, mobilising and many things against our will.
For 'MEMORIA', thanks to the artist Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
