This new book, presented for the first time in Paris, entitled "Another Place, Some Other Time", is the result of a collaboration born during the pandemic between Chinese artists Zeng Zhe and Li Zhenhua. For two years, they exchanged words and drawings.
Zeng Zhe moved to Berlin a few years before the pandemic. While Covid-19 interrupted the course of normal life, it also gave her the opportunity to focus and develop new creativity in a small living space.
The book has nearly 400 beautifully printed and handcrafted pages, all of which echo the artist's state of mind, following the chronology of the pandemic, with texts by Li Zhenhua, as well as poems, sentences, and texts he has collected.
Ce nouveau livre, présenté pour la première fois à Paris, intitulé "Another Place, Some Other Time", est le résultat d’une collaboration née pendant la pandémie entre les artistes chinois Zeng Zhe et Li Zhenhua. Pendant deux ans, ils ont échangé mots et dessins.
Zeng Zhe s’est installée à Berlin quelques années avant la pandémie. Si la Covid-19 a interrompu le cours de la vie normale, elle lui a aussi donné l’occasion de se concentrer et de développer une nouvelle créativité à partir d’un petit espace de vie.
L’ouvrage compte près de 400 pages, magnifiquement imprimées et façonnées à la main, qui font toutes écho à l'état d'esprit de l'artiste, suivant la chronologie du développement de la pandémie, avec des textes de Li Zhenhua, ainsi que des poèmes, des bribes de phrases et des textes qu'il a rassemblés.

曾喆女士在疫情之前几年，从北京来到柏林。疫情让生活停滞，但也让她在狭小的生活空间中，得到专注的时间和如泉涌的创造力。
这本书接近400页，精美印刷和手工痕迹，都与艺术家状态相呼应，以疫情发展的时间为轴线，其中穿插着来自李振华先生的文字，以及他收集整理的诗歌、短句和文本。

ich kann nicht aufhören

dem buch beim atmen zuzuhören,

carefully scanning each other
仔细扫视对方
one takes the other by the hand
却又相连着
on the way
共赴
through the museum of sleep
睡梦博物馆
that people call life.
人们称之为 "生命"。
I cannot stop

to leaf through it
一直翻看着
listening to the book breathing,
倾听书在呼吸
occupying the blank white pages

with my own imagination.
